This tip is dedicated to providing a brief note on the birth of what has become the magical basis of global communications and success stories everywhere.
The birth of the internet was sort of a “big bang”, brief and explosive. It stemmed from an experiment carried out by the US. Department of Defense in the early 1960s; the main idea was to create a network which would hold up and continue operations should a nuclear war or other calamity should take place. It would continue to function even if part of the network was destroyed. This network was called ARPANET, (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network); its goal was to link U.S. scientific and academic researchers.
Nowadays, it is considered the forerunner of the Internet as we know it.
