Here is a simple example of how to use Retranslation in Word Magic Translator Plus.
Type in the same example we have been using for the past three weeks, ”We read a report on farming”, and click interactive.
Results:
- Leemos un informe en labrar la tierra.
- Leímos un informe en labrar la tierra.
Click on the Retranslation Button:
- We read a report over cultivating the land
- We did read a report over cultivating the land
Select Translation Option #2 and click on “Better Choice”. The sentences at the right are the retranslations:
- Leímos un informe en labrar la tierra = We did read a report over cultivating the land.
- Leímos un reportaje en labrar la tierra = We did read a news report over cultivating the land.
- Leímos una denuncia en labrar la tierra = We did read a formal complaint over cultivating the land
If you agree with Translation Option #1, click on its “Better Choice” button and you will get the following final two choices:
- Leímos un informe en labrar la tierra = We did read a report over cultivating the land.
- Leímos un informe sobre labrar la tierra = We did read a report about cultivating the land.
Of course, Choice #2 sounds better than #1. Now click on “Go to Interactive”.
In the Interactive mode, select “farming” and then click on Noun. You will immediately see the new display:
Input text: We read a report on farming
Final Spanish Translation: Leímos un informe sobre la agricultura
Final retranslation: We did read (give reading to) a report about agriculture
