Ways in which to use Translator Professional Plus - Part III

This Tip applies to the following products:  

In our last tip we said that, even though we have almost unlimited choice in the selection of parts of speech, word meanings, word synonyms and even ambiguous sentence constructions in Version 5 Plus , there were still two very important functions missing.

Number One: All those changes make sense only if you know the other language very well.

Number Two: Many times you prefer one specific meaning or synonym above all other available choices.  Do you have to click on your preferred term every single time you come upon that word?

Word Magic has implemented Translation Memory to circumvent difficulty number two.  What you do is right-click on the preferred meaning or preferred synonym and the translator will remember each and every time.  See tip #4 onward, which explain the procedure in more detail.

Problem “Number One”, however, required a lot of programming from our engineering staff.  They came up with the concept of “Real Retranslation”.  This is actually different from “simple” retranslation, which you perform by copying the translated output into the input box.  Then you translate it in the reverse direction.  “Real Retranslation,” means that Word Magic Translator will display the “real meaning” of your translation in the original language so that you can truly be conscious of what your Spanish-speaking party will be getting and reading in your own language. And all this with a single click…
