Retranslation versus Reverse Translation by Copy-Paste

This Tip applies to the following products: Translator Professional 5.0, Translator Professional Plus 5.0

Translator Professional and Professional Plus offers the user the possibility of using True Retranslation.

Let’s translate interactively using True Retranslation:

Original Phrase : We lost our wooden case in the airport

We get:

Looking at the translation, the English-speaking User immediately notices there is something wrong in the translation, specifically with the word “case”.

To correct this, select the word “case”.  The system indicates that the “event” tag was the selected meaning. Therefore, in order to correct this, you must click on the tag “box”, and you will immediately see that the Retranslation changes to “wooden box”.

The user can be sure that the Spanish translation is equally corrected:

Perdimos nuestra caja de madera en el aeropuerto

Problem solved!
