Usage Examples And Grammar Notes Add-On

This Tip applies to the following products: Dictionary & Tools Professional 5

This Add-on provides examples of how to use compound, idiomatic or colloquial verbs in Spanish and English, to make their meanings understandable.

The grammar notes also included here will tell you when to use any entry. For example, the literal expression: “Take a back seat” will have a note saying “Do not confuse with: Take a back seat, which means shun responsibility.”

It will also tell you if there’s a preferred or alternate spelling of the word, the type of word (slang, etc.) and false friends.

The package also includes “guides”, which are small tags that give you information related to the word’s use. Examples: “howl” as a verb has the guide-word [wind] and yet another meaning of “howl” has [siren] as its guide word.

You can purchase this add-on to use with your Dictionary & Tools Professional for added versatility and for taking advantage of your personal learning experience. Please click here to buy it now.
