TIP #105 - This tip was sent on the week: 3th - 9th Sep, 2006

105 ESI PRO & Translation Part XX - Using Interactive Translation

This tip applies to the following programs:

• ESI Professional

Still analyzing noun-adjective versus adjective noun sequences, an example of a (perhaps) badly-translated phrase is the following:

Una pequeña herida = A wounded child (Una niña herida)

Translating this phrase with ESI PRO, Interactive Mode we see that the word “pequeña” was interpreted as a Noun.

Let’s click on Adjective, to immediately see the desired transformation.

As you can see, the result is now “A little injury. (Una cortadura pequeña)”
